Dear Michelle, Happy Monday! We have new fitness classes CEDRIC style starting this week as well as our Tuesday night Yoga with Deb Moncur from 6 - 7:30 every Wednesday. A New Phase I group starts on Saturday the 10th of February from 10 - 12 each week and we've got two new intensives coming up in February as well. You can always visit the events listing on our web page for more details and days and times of our offerings. You'll notice this week that our Tools for Recovery is just a paragraph
or two long. That's because the remainder of that article and the Ask a
Counsellor article are featured on our blog. So if you want to read more
just click on the link and you'll go straight to our blog and to that
article. I love technology! Well that's about all the excitement I can handle for one week. Be
gentle with yourself. ![]() Love Michelle
Just a quick note to acknowledge that our beloved Karen will be away
from January 15 - March 5 in India. She will be attending the ashram of
her Guru, Sri Ramana Maharshi and plans to spend the majority of her time
in mediation.
Come and visit our booth at the Victoria Health Show, Saturday, January
20th from 10 - 6 and Sunday, January 21st from 11 - 5:30.
Well, the Blog is up and running. We still have a few things to learn
about blogging for sure and we're certain that over the months to come,
you will initiate us! It is also intended to create a sense of community for those of us who
in the past or present feel drawn to use food to cope for any reason.
So, please visit our blog; send us a comment; share with us about anything you'd like to have an article written about or any questions you have about the recovery process. It's a great gift for us to hear directly from you about what you need to know at this stage in your process. And for those of you who aren't sure what a blog is or how to use it let me assure you it is very simple. If you visit www.cedriccentre.com/blog you'll see how easy it is to leave a comment or just to review articles. We look forward to communicating with you over the months and years to come through our new blog.
It's Michelle Morand here, below you'll find a fabulous question that
we received from a client a few months back. She has given me permission
to share it with you as I am certain it's something that we all ask
ourselves at many points during our healing journey Beneath her question
you'll find my response and you'll find the response of CEDRIC counselor
Beth Burton-Krahn. No doubt you'll resonate with something in both and
whichever piece sticks with you, go with that!: Want to read more? Click on the link below. Ask a Counsellor
